Pelvic floor therapy for feminine stress incontinence
LadySystem Pelvic Floor Therapy is the simple and clinically proven way to restore pelvic floor strength and resolve feminine stress incontinence. LadySystem works by using your body’s natural reflexes to exercise and restore tone to the muscles weakened by pregnancy and childbirth.
Easy to use LadySystem takes only 15 minutes twice a day and requires little effort on your part. Meanwhile, you are free to continue with your normal daily activies. You simply insert one of the weighted cones intravaginally like a tampon, and forget about it until it’s time to take it out. It really is that simple.
Safe and natural LadySystem is a pelvic floor exercise therapy, and it works by using your body’s natural reflex contractions to provide a mild but effective physiotherapy. The process of recovery is gentle and completely safe.
Clinically proven LadySystem has achieved high success rates in extensive clinical tests and is recommended at major hospitals and clinics worldwide. LadySystem has been used successfully by tens of thousands of women since its launch in 1994.
Rapidly effective LadySystem starts to improve pelvic floor tone within two weeks, and symptoms resolve after as little as 8 weeks of regular use.
Post-natal recovery LadySystem is recommended routinely to new mothers by gynaecologists, midwives and physiotherapists as part of the normal post-natal recovery programme. For women who plan to have more than one child, it is particularly important to re-strengthen the pelvic floor muscles after each pregnancy.
Ladysystems International is a Europe based biomedical research company which was formed in 1993, to bring together R&D expertise with clinical experience in the field of pelvic floor rehabilitation. WHEN DO YOU NEED LADYSYSTEM?
The most common causes of pelvic floor weakness are described below. If one or more of these applies to you, then it is important to ensure that you start a programme of pelvic floor recovery using LadySystem, without delay:
PREGNANCY AND CHILDBIRTH
This is the single most common cause of damage to the pelvic floor muscles. During pregnancy, the growing weight of your baby places an increasing burden on your pelvic floor. This reaches a peak during the birth itself, when the muscles have to stretch very substantially to allow your baby to pass through the birth canal. If your baby is large or heavy, or you have a multiple birth, the strain on your pelvic floor is even greater. Episiotomy is another risk factor. Sometimes, the effects of the weakening do not become apparent for some months or even years. Therefore, it is important to make pelvic floor rehabilitation a routine part of your post-natal recovery programme, even if you don’t have any obvious symptoms at the time.
POST PARTUM EXERCISES
Many women like to start a programme of exercises after giving birth, in order to recover their figure and their fitness. However, these exercises can put extra pressure on your pelvic floor, and if it is already weak, then they could even make things worse. Therefore, activities such as running, jumping, abdominal exercises, or lifting weights should be avoided until you are sure that you have restored your pelvic floor strength and tone using LadySystem.
Almost two in ten women have a naturally weak pelvic floor even before having any children. Therefore, it is important to deal with this before any other factors such as pregnancy can start to aggravate the problem further.
Sports which involve jumping, high impact, and running, increase the intra-abdominal pressure and often deteriorate pelvic floor muscle tone. One study showed that among young and fit female athletes, six out of ten of them are affected by stress incontinence during their sporting activities. It is essential to ensure that you have a strong pelvic floor before you participate in these types of activities.
MENOPAUSE AND AGING
The hormonal changes during the menopause can cause the pelvic floor muscles to lose their elasticity, and stress incontinence and other symptoms are frequently the result. Making sure that your pelvic floor is well-toned using LadySystem will minimise or resolve these problems at this often difficult time of a woman’s life.
Retaining urine for long periods, excess consumption of some beverages (tea, coffee, cola), tight clothes, obesity, and constipation can all lead to deterioration of the pelvic floor muscles.
The pelvic floor muscles play an important role in your body and therefore it is important to keep them fit and healthy at all times, and especially if any of the above circumstances applies to you. LadySystem is a simple and ideal way of doing this as part of your everyday personal routine.
